These two paintings are the beginning of a new series of small acrylic works on 5x7" paper. As I travel across this country, one thing remains constant: Americans are consumers, myself included. I'm made even more aware of this as I try to experience new places while penny-pinching. Want to know where I'm spending most of my money? This series will serve as a visual diary of a consumer, as well as a way for me to try and break even.
